Methodological Challenges in Interviewing Elite Women in a Patriarchal Society

چکیده
The current article reflects on the challenges of selecting and accessing participants from societies where power relations are gender-based. paper discusses methodological difficulties gaining research access to professionally educationally elite women in Pakistan's patriarchal society suggests a strategy "referral in-group" for recruiting interview participants. Drawing author's purposive sampling-based Pakistan, this proposes recruit an population participate interviews culturally sensitive subject, namely, control over Pakistani women's digital lives. Furthermore, coupled with sampling, contributes existing literature interviewing growing conducting challenging cultural environments, specifically women.
